After a lunch at town with Karina (my mum) I was sun bathing with Lees on the beach!
It was so nice and warm and you can already see a tan ;) ! We both were realxing on our last day of the holidays and had fun!

Finally we went into the sea for a swim! First it was quite cold but the it was nice. Lees took her surf board and showed me some basic skills. there were no good waves to surf really, but it was pretty nice just to let you go with the little waves! When we came back i had soooo many freckles and they were so extreme!! :D

Haha but now you can also see the bad side off laying too long in the sun! I didn´t exspect the sun to be so strong already.
I am a little sun burnt in my face!

Today I had then my first dive training in the pool. That was exciting but also quite scary in the beginning. You have to get used to the breathing with the tank. We trained diffrent things underwater like changing the relator or mask. Finally i recognized how hard and tiring it was. But the weather was so bad today!! It was raining the whole day like mess.

I hope tomorrow will be cool and we will see quite a bit in the Lake Rotoroma.

The test on Thursday was pretty good. I exspected it to be much harder!
After it I went to a BBQ, where i met some more friend of my school year. ( year 12)
My most Kiwi-Friends are in year 11, because they are many also leeses friends and she is in year11. Of my age i would be in the same year, but they put all exchange students in year12. okay thats confusion I know :D

Anyway we were hanging out together outside and inside and playing some fun games as like hide and seeking, flash light or a funny card game, where we create funny sentences!
I enjoyed this evening after all this studying.

Hey my holidays are going on pretty well! I stayed a few days with my sister in Ohope at my Hostdads. So we hang out together and went to town one day. It was pretty much realaxing! The weather was always so nice, that we only wear mini shorts and tops. Feeling of summer!!
On Saturday was a cool Masquerade Party, where I was dacing the whole night through.
This week I am back at home and stay with Karina. Since yesterday i have to study quite hard for the diving licence!
Tomorrow evening is the theory test and on saturday is then the Pool training.
On Sunday we hav a open water dive in the lake by Rotorua! Hope that will be cool.

Photos of Auckland will come soon when i have time again.. Probably in the beginning of next week!

Yesterday Hayley took me to many sights and I saw many parts of the city, which is very big and and has many nice parks.
In some parks they don't have to cut the GRAS. They have for it many sheep and lamps!
So cute! I saw the one tree hill, Victoria Mountain, beaches, the skyline of Auckland, Habour bridge, a park with wild cats,

In the morning we I had a delicouse Mocha and a Walnut Brioch in a little cafe. everything looked to good. Hayley had a Cappucchino with a Caramel slice.!! Such a small but busy place.
It's called "little and Friday".

At lunch time we picked her boyfriend up and came with us to a photography exhibition in the Auckland Museum.

Last night the time got changed to summertime. Now is a time difference of 11 hours between Germany and New Zealand.

Today is such a warm and sunny day. We went to the beach on the west coast and had picknick with fish and chips. That was good.
After eating I touched the first time Tasman sea. The beach has black sand!
Later we went to place which is famous for the strawberry ice creame. That was yum! ( I payed for it for us 3)

Hayley just takes me to the best food places!
Now we are at her place and watch the all blacks against Argentina. That means we are watching rugby. New Zealand is called the all blacks!

Tomorrow morning I will go back to Whakatane !!

Just for info, yesterday evening I just arrived in Auckland.
My first impression was: big city, loud, many cars and high houses, many Asian people,DIFFERENT!
I met Hayley and we walked along the harbour, where many restaurants and pubs are.
For dinner we ate at a Italian Restaurant. I had a nice pizza. Travelling makes hungry!

We stay at her mothers house, because she doesn't have a free bed.
her mother is also very nice and both have such a big heart and offer me every thing. Her mother is a beauty therapist with her own salon at home.

I just had a very nice omelette and a shower. we will go soon to town and Hayley will show me around.

Hey Guys,
On Wednesday all Internationals went to the Marae. We saw an interesting light show. We were shown a story about Wairaka, a woman who saved some man in the kanu with leading the boat, and about the Whale Island.
We could have a look around and take some photos. Finally we had Maori bread and tea together.
Here is a picturre of the hall. It is really high(about 7m) and big.


Today I was in Te Puke at the Kiwiland.
we sat in little kiwis as a train and drove through the whole area to the kiwi plantation along many other fruit trees.We learned a few things, e. g. Kiwi is the worldst healthiest fruit.
And at the Plantation we learne about the work , which has to be done with the fruits and the trees through the year. You need one male for 4 female trees. Only the female produce fruits. Here is a picturre of one plant. Of course without fruits because they get picked between april and may.

In front of the main house is a big kiwi fruit which you can see from the road. we went the stairs up to the top and took one group picturre with friends (Ebba, me, Nora, Eve and Maria). It is on the one side green and one the other side more a yellow colour, because there are two types of the kiwi fruits. There are the golden and the green one. On the way to the Plantation we also saw a big figure of a kiwi bird.
On the right bottom it´s me and Kine (from Norway) in the kiwi car.


So tomorrow i go to Auckland for the weekend.
