Most of you know that I'm at an internship at the moment in Lübeck.
During the week I work a lot and in the evening I'm tired or just go to town alone or with some other girls of my work.

But the weekends I use for travelling and sightseeing :)
I visit friends in different cities. I either enjoy the time just with my friend or let them show me around! Every time something different and new :)

I'll tell you later about my different trips!

Hey i know i didnt put some new stories on for ages but okay here are some news.

I have now holidays.
Last week on wednesday was our last school day and on Thursday was the big Prize Giving, where many good students won prizes. It was cool to watch. I liked that they had many songs during the time too. Aswell the School song. Why dont we have a school song in Germany?? Other people like parents and friends came to watch it too.Also Anneke, the woman from my organisation, came too. Everybody got its report later on. The teacher all wrote nice comments. that makes me sad+ geasebumbs.
Some weeks ago we had our last Assembly.The students,who are leaving in the holidays got called up on stage. I prepared a speech for it and hold it in front of all the senior classes. I was really nervous, but I did it. The whole school day i always got told how cute my speech was. I was the only person, who said something and i asked for doing it.

All Kiwi-students have now the big end exams and i have with the other exchange students many trips.
Friday I went then to a friends place, who liver further outside on a farm and i helped her a bit to prepare their shed for the party that evening. That was fun.
Saturday was then just relaxing in the sun.
Monday I had a few hours working for Photography in the dark room.
Tuesday we went to Rotorua in the Redwood Forest for Mountain biking. The boys and girls went in different groups to different places. We did some different pacours. It was the very first time for me to go Mountain biking, but i wasnt bad in it. Going upwards is so exhausting, but down over litlle hillocks is really fun! Next day i had a sore bum, but i would do it again.
Wednesday we had a Masterchef Competition.
At school we were in paires with a country each. First we had 1 hour time to decide, which recipes we use and what kind of menu we make. In the time the teacher bought all the ingredience we hang outside with some kiwis and watch a SOLAR ECLIPSE.
That was cool. The moon was direct in front of the sun. You mainly could see it when you looked through a special glass/helmet.
The we started cooking. Overall we cooked 3 hours and prepared an amazing menu. I made with Maria French food.
The menu:
The starter was salad with cheese and baguette.
The main course was coq á la biére. That special chicken with vegetable and smashed potatoes. The smell was so yum.
For desert we made Mousse au chocolat.
One teacher,who was a chef for 8 years, gave us tips so that we produced a lovely meal.
We finally could invite some friends,who got to eat it then. Also the other teams tried each others food. We were only girls. The boys didnt end up coming. 3 other Teacher judged then our food and surprise Maria and me won the competition!! The prize was a big package of chocolate, which we will eat another time together! The whole cooking thing was so fun and i enjoyed it a lot. I learnt heaps and i had great experience with cooking for somebody else a menu and plannign it.
After it I went surfing again and success. I stood up for the first time! The waves were pretty small, which is quite good to learn surfing.
Today i was just chilling with Ebba after I stayed the night at her place.
.. next days is some more programm but about that i will tell you later :)

Last Weekend was a long Weekend, because Monday was a holiday( Labour Day). That´s why Brit came from Wellington and Jemma from Tauranga at home.
After my diving on Saturday I went a bit shopping with the girls and in the evening we went with the whole family to the cinema. We were Karina, Annalees, Jemma, Brit, me and also Norman. We watched “Pitch Perfekt”. That is such a good and funny movie.
Sunday was nothing special exept for that some more girls were at home.

But Monday was the best day of the weekend!
Lees, Norman, britt and me drove to Rotorua to drop Brit at the bus station!
After that the fun part started. Norman took us to a place, where we took the gondula up the mountain. Lees and me did the Luge thing. We sat in little karts and drove down. There are different pacoures with different levels. The first one is long , the second one is middle one, so it is a bit steeper and shorter and the advanced one is pretty steep with many curves. So you get much faster at the last one. On my first ride I drove against the border in the second curve. BANG! Scream! Mess of bruise!! You always take then a little lift(Sessellift like at skiing) up again. After an ice cream we go bck down with the gondula! Norman couldnt do it, because he had a hip operation a few weeks ago.
Next stop is at the Agrofarm. This is a place, where they get the wool of the sheep. We see a little show, where they show us how a dog guides the sheep without barking. Inside we could see then a hundreds years old machine, which works with the wool. It brushes the wool and presses it thinner. In the same room is a big souvenir shop, where I find a cool T-shirt for me and some body else in germany. Along sheep, cow, ducks and emu we go to another palce of the Agrofarm. It is a place, where you can do Bunge jumping, Freefall Xtreme, the Swoop (similar to bunge), Shweeb ( cycling in a kind of “Schwebebahn”) and have a ride on the Agrojet. We take the last one. We sit in a speedboat with helmet and safety belt. The diver goes with speed through a water pacour. He makes many quick curves, what causes big waves. Screaming! Laughing!Having FUN!!
After lunch we drive back to Whakatane. Its good that we came so early, so we didn´t really had to wait at the Luge and we are early back. We had to go that time, because Brits bus came at 9 o´clock.
The distance takes about 1,5 hours with the car. Lees met then at a friend to study a bit and I hang out with Anaelle.
That was such a cool ACTION-DAY!!!

Saturday I had my last dive training!
It was at the lake Rotoma again. The first time, when I tried to go down my ears source so much and I couldn´t equalize! After a while I had a better feeling in my ears again and I tried it again. This time I went really slow and equalized every few meter and I got down to my group. We had to show some skills again, which we learnd in the pool. It were two dives. That means we have to go up between the dives and change the tank. We finish it cold and tired, but also happy because we passed the course.
On Thursday we had our last meeting, where we signed the last papers and now we are a Open Water Diver! When I talk about “we” then I mean the course member, but exspecially Nora, Maria and me. Nora and Maria are also exchange students from Germany. Together we mainly speak English! I am so used to English that I have problems to talk German!

I coudn´t take a photo with the tank and all the other stuff on,because it is together so heavy that we only want to get into the water as fast as possible!!

Hey here is a Update about my school subjects:
Photography: finished the Project with the Bird Walk and started a new one.We work now with film cameras and take some photos like David Hockney.
Maths: sometimes I cant be bothered to do some work and other time I really enjoy working with Ana and Cameron.
Marine Studies: we are talking about Whitebait, which is a fish group they catch here. You can see the fisher everywhere on the river. The fish is really small (between 25-50mm) and expensive. You mainly eat it here as a whitebait fritter! I had one already at home! They taste good.
Hospitality: We cook two times a week. Every time some new dishes and with some body else !Today we just made Wedges!
Drama: we are practicing the class play. In two weeks we will show it inffront of some audience at school.
Textiles: Last weekend I finished my dress! It looks pretty cool!

First you can see that there are many parks in Auckland. THe most parks have sheep just walking around.
Little and friday was a cute and busy cafe, where i had a walnut brioche and a Mocha. Both was deliciouse and homemade! Eveything looked so good and the choice was hard.
In the right corner is a picturre just after my arriving at town with all the cars and the difference to my little town Whakatane.
The big building is the Auckland Museum, where we visit a Photography Exhibition!
Next to it you can see the skyline at the sunset!
In the middle is the MURIWAI beach, which we visit on Sunday. Its on the west coast of New Zealand and has black sand!
Next to it is a picturre if my last highlight in Auckland. It´s the view out of the skytower at night.
